Blu here,
It is looking more and more that we will put the clan to sleep soon (ish).
Some words I have started to share are that we will form a small group of people that will pick/ask/find the next founders of a new clan we will fully launch for Destiny.
My suggestion here is we use Titanfall as a rough launch ground for this clan, with no emblems or roles specified other than founders and then use Destiny as our grand launch whenever that day comes.
Titanfall will be an Xbox One exclusive, which immediately sorts out the PS3/PC jumpers and says goodbye to them. Titanfall is new enough where all the CoD-aholics won't feel entitled, and the same would go for our Halo players too.
Fresh clan, fresh new game start.
The new founders will rule the ground when the time comes. We'll want dedicated guys that are up to the task. I will more offer my website graphics hand and basically hear what they want, rather than suggest it and doing it myself. The new founders of this new clan can say NO to a website altogether even, ditch any stats or even choose to 'keep' some awards from this can.
Or throw those awards out and not have any.
It's really going to be up to NEW people here. The next founders WILL be gamerholics or at least have a few amongst them.
I've been hearing many options for games for a clan to follow over the last 6-12 months. Battlefield 4 just seems too casual to me, nobody has truly JUMPED onto it. So it's good, just not a good clan game... The Elder Scrolls online just announced it's a $15.00 per month subscription fee for those of you who want to play (the first month being free). Sorry but games don't need monthly fees when xbox live AND your internet connection are already monthly fees. Perhaps microsoft should just give them more development cash? Not only the rich should be allowed to play in this new clan. GTA V sounds fun but is still current gen. We'll all enjoy it and it'll likely get a 9.9 on all the reviews but it's still likely just GTA 4.1 with lots of hype. And another bad clan based game.
Those are my suggestions there though, the Founders can do anything.
The next clan will likely take a community feel from the start. Squads (of Factions or groups or whatever) will likely carry their own unique logos for each. And I'd say we'd structure the website so we could allow MANY site editors that have access to only certain pages. I'm not positive but I think it's possible to do that...
With all of this said. TFS' status I view sort of like how Halo 3 had ended with the Chief adrift on the Dawn. If the next clan sucks and this comity doesn't select the right people, I'm coming back to TFS alone and dusting all of this shit off.
However, the idea is that the death of The Frozen Shadows will also create something new and special... and better.
Shadows will say that the demise of TFS was for a variety of reasons. As a Co Founder here, I'm taking responsibility of this fully. This is the only way I can fire myself yet see if anything else can come of this - in a very destructive way.
